Dystopian companies are planning the future of life

Fertility rates are declining around the world, but reports claim that there are now 8 billion people on this ball called Earth. The UN, WHO, and the CDC have all chimed in to declare there are just too many of us carbon emitters. Shrinking our “footprint” is the plan for Agenda 2030.

With the advent of sustainable goals, ESG’s, and sounding the alarm of planetary harms, many articles from well known science journals are quietly stating that there is indeed a plunge in birth rates. According to Forbes Magazine, the baby shortage is so severe that the labor shortage will last for years, major employment firms predict. According to many technocrats, will humans be needed at all?

While there are many factors contributing to this trend, one that is often overlooked is the impact of pesticides and pharmaceuticals on reproductive health. These chemicals, which are used in agriculture and medicine, have been shown to have negative effects on the ability of both men and women to conceive and carry a pregnancy to term. The evolution of CRISPR babies, as shown by Dr. He Jiankui has shown not only that the technology worked in the twin girls born out of the discovery, but they no longer have the gene that would remove any chances of contracting HIV. Controversial at the time, his success spawned a revolutionary era of baby making.

EctoLife burst onto the scene, making its mark on the pages of science journals this morning. (and to my horror) Much like the “BioBag” in 2017 containing and housing a lamb from fertilization to fetus, in Israel they are also growing mice embryos in the same fashion. EctoLife is the artificial womb facility of the future. Created to meet the needs of parents who are tired of waiting for responses from adoption agencies, Hashem Al-Ghaili, the creator of EctoLife, believes EctoLife’s concept will replace traditional births by replacing them with wombs or pods. Some physicians believe this technology will be available in just a few years, while Al-Ghaili was hesitant and claimed it would be more like 10 years.

EctoLife also boasts that their babies are designed to be monitored by AI for any physical deformities in fetuses. By using AI, we will be able to determine preferential genetic markers, ensuring that these babies are free of any genetic diseases. CRISPR has already been used to “fix” diseased genes in viable human embryos, but not without horrific outcomes and loss of embryos and heartache for hopeful parents. Al-Gahili has bold plans for AI and his pod facility holding hundreds of pod babies at one time which will also “feed nutrients” with the use of you guessed it AI as the fetus as it grows.

Parents are ensured they will be part of this freak process by enabling the use of 360 degrees of camera usage inside the actual baby bag. In return, parents will need a smartphone to monitor their baby’s sack, while speakers will pipe in their favorite playlists, or use sounds “replicating the mother’s womb.” Also being touted is VR program and a fancy hepatic suit that works with the app of course. Imagine wearing a suit that replicates the human body being pregnant without all the pushing and pain of that awful human connection of giving birth. Voila! At the end of the gestation! Push a button the sack empties and there is your brand new gene edited humanoid.

Are we really willing to let science go this far? The desperation to become a parent is unfathomable. It is still unknown what complications may arise from a gene-edited humanoid. In the future will humanity still be human? Wanting to remove any and all of the qualities of human nurturing, this is the road that science is choosing to take. The truth of the matter is this: only the extremely wealthy will have these children. Boosted with all the finest genes money can buy. They will be smarter, more attractive, and destined to be future leaders. This very well may be either the military of the future, or the dictatorship that oversees us all.
